Chapter 11

In begining of chapter of chapter 11 Don Quixote and Sancho were hungry, so the goatherds provided them a meal. During this meal Don Quixote says to Sancho "That you may see, Sancho, the intrinsic worth of Knight-errantry, and how fair a prospect its meanest retainers have of speedily gaining the respect and esteem of the world, I will, that you sit here by my side, and in company with these good folks, and that you be one and the same thing with me, who am your master and natural lord; that you eat from off my plate, and drink of the same cup in which I drink: for the same may be said of knight-errantry which is said of love, that it makes all things equal."Basically, Don Quixote was asking Sancho to join him on him knight-errantry with him, and be his right hand man. Sancho didn't want to be Don Quixote's right hand man, and did not accept the offering.
Because Sancho didn't accept Don Quixote forced him to sit next to him while eating. Afterwards, Don Quixote starts to talk about the golden age. After this scene a gentleman named Antonio sung his song entitled ANTONIO. He did so with all his heart, and tuned his rebeck and song his lungs out.
